THERAPEUTIC THAI MASSAGE SERVICES
Therapeutic Thai Massage
This session blends osteopathic massage techniques, lymphatic drainage, and manual therapy assessment methods to understand your body’s patterns and address your specific concerns with clarity and precision. With great care and consideration, our practitioner tailors each treatment to support optimal function, ease, and alignment.
Using a combination of palms, elbows, forearms, knees, and feet, the body is gently compressed, stretched, and guided out of tension and pain. Herbal compresses are incorporated into every session, and fire cupping, tok sen/chiseling, scraping, liniments, and therapeutic oils may be added as needed to enhance relief and mobility.
This integrative approach encourages deep relaxation within the body and stillness within the mind, helping resolve a wide range of ailments and injuries and leaving you feeling calm, open, and limber.

Thai Abdominal Massage
Quite possibly the most important massage style we offer, this abdominal-focused session begins with manual therapy assessment techniques to understand the body’s patterns and guide precise, intentional work. In Thai medical theory, the abdomen is considered the central mind of the body, and its function greatly influences overall health. Combining osteopathic massage techniques with gentle lymphatic drainage, this treatment methodically releases layers of deep-held tension and resets the body’s center.
By restoring ease through the core, the session rejuvenates the low back, spine, digestive system, and more. With its unexpectedly profound levels of release, abdominal massage helps free long-standing tension throughout the entire body, supporting improved circulation, respiration, and nerve function.

Damion offers in-home massage sessions for clients who may have difficulty leaving their homes, including residents of elderly care facilities, individuals recovering from surgery, and postpartum clients. A travel fee of $50 applies to all in-town house-call appointments. Further distances may require a greater fee.
Sessions can be provided in a reclining chair, on a couch, on a bed, or on my portable massage mat, which I can bring upon request.

Reusi Dat Ton
Reusi Dat Ton is a structured system of movement and bodywork developed from the practices of practitioners across North India and Thailand. It is a methodical approach to assessing, mobilizing, and stimulating the body, including tendons, ligaments, nerves, circulatory pathways, and soft tissues. Within this tradition, we utilize breathing techniques, postures, targeted stretches, mental focus practices, and supportive daily habits designed for safe physical maintenance and rehabilitation.
These techniques provide measurable benefits for physical health: improving joint mobility, enhancing muscular flexibility, supporting healthy digestion and breathing, and positively influencing mental and emotional states. Each posture and movement is taught with precision, ensuring deep learning and effective outcomes. Adjustments and modifications are provided to ensure participants can work safely within their individual ranges of motion and physical capacity.
For students of Thai massage, RDT serves as the foundational practice. Studying RDT deepens understanding of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and therapeutic principles from a Thai medical perspective. This knowledge enhances the effectiveness of massage therapy, allows for safer and more informed bodywork, and promotes long-term physical resilience and well-being, supporting continued function into later life.
